DEPLOYMENT & MODELS

Where does Nedura run?

Is Nedura a separately hosted agent service?

Nedura is deployed in your cloud tenant or on your servers. Model providers, messaging platforms, and external tools are separate connections you configure.

How do I install or upgrade it?

Your administrator uses nedura-deploy. The installation guide describes Linux, Windows Server, containers / Helm, and Terraform. To try it, request evaluation access on the Evaluate page.

Can I use a local or self-hosted model?

Nedura supports custom OpenAI-compatible endpoints. Match endpoint, model, and context settings to the server. A local model does not make web tools or external integrations work offline.

Configure a provider ↗
What happens if a model provider fails?

You can configure an optional fallback chain of provider and model pairs. Credential pools for one provider and cross-provider fallback are separate mechanisms.

Fallback configuration ↗
Can we try Nedura before buying?

Yes. Request a 30-day evaluation for your own environment, or book a live demo with our team.

CONTEXT & CAPABILITIES

What carries from one task to the next?

How do memory and session history differ?

Curated memory stores selected facts and preferences for later sessions. Session history preserves conversations that can be searched for earlier context.

Understand memory ↗
What is a skill?

A skill is an on-demand knowledge document with reusable instructions or procedures. Nedura supports the Agent Skills standard and loads skills relevant to the task.

Is a profile the same as a subagent?

A profile is a persistent home for configuration and state. A subagent is a child assistant with a fresh conversation, delegated a task by a parent. Independent persistent agents should use separate profiles.

How do I add tools?

Enable built-in toolsets, connect MCP servers, or add plugins. MCP connects external tool services; plugins add tools, hooks, and integrations without modifying core code.

Do messaging channels have the same features?

Voice, media, files, threads, reactions, and streaming vary by platform and adapter. Check the messaging documentation for your channel.

CONTROL & SUPPORT

Plan the boundaries.

Does deployment in my environment keep every request internal?

Model calls go to configured providers. External tools and messaging services have their own data flows. Review all configured connections alongside the runtime.
